My very first giveaway!!!!!

When I started my blog, I thought that if I ever reached 50 followers, then I would host a giveaway.  I reached that number a few days ago, so I started thinking about what I could put together.  I'm really digging the low volume trend right now, so I put together a fat eighth bundle of some of my favorites.

This bundle includes some Dear Stella, Lecien, Timeless Treasures, Andover and some others.

I also love rainbow colors (who doesn't?) and put together a fat eighth bundle of some of my favorites.

Maybe you see some of your favorites in there too?

I have really enjoyed the last few months of blogging and I appreciate all of you who have stopped by, read a post, looked at some pictures, or left a comment.  I also look forward to the days ahead and hope to continue to be an active part of this wonderful online community that has taught me so much.

To enter the giveaway, please leave a comment telling me about a project that you really want to make for yourself, but haven't got around to it yet.  The giveaway is open internationally.  You don't have to be a follower to be eligible, but I would appreciate it if you would consider becoming one.  Please make sure you leave your email address in your comment if there's a chance you are a no reply blogger.  The giveaway will be open until Saturday night.

Also, today is my youngest child's 5th birthday!  Shout out to the birthday boy, Nathaniel!

Ohhhh the list of projects that I want to make for me is long. First is a tank top - made to my measurements. I'm at the altering the pattern part . . . eventually I'll get there.

  4. Congrats to you and a big happy birthday to Nathaniel. One of my boys also turned 5 a couple of weeks ago, it's a great age.

Fabulous fabrics for a giveaway, thank you so much for giving us all the chance to win.

The one project I really want to get made is a quilt I designed myself called Starburst. I've trialed the first section back in June but I've not had the chance to get any more work done on it since - one of these days...

  9. Congratulations, Alyce! I love the name Nathaniel, happy birthday to your guy. Great low-volume picks. I have had the Staple Dress pattern in my hands for about six weeks. The voile is on the way but I KNOW it is going to sit for awhile before I can get to it! (These little 2-day projects are always the ones that take the longest to get to!)

  35. Gosh, there's so many things I have in mind, particularly centered around sewing room organization/storage, but I think what I've really been neglecting is my clothing sewing! I miss making clothes for myself, and I really could use some. I just picked up a few patterns, so I'm running out of excuses... :)

Congrats on 50, btw!! I should do a giveaway when I get there, too ♥

  38. Happy (belated) Birthday, Nathaniel!
I want to make a bag to cart my sewing projects around in. I'm currently using a canvas tote - boring! There always seems to be other things I need to do first though so it keeps getting put off. Congrats on 50 followers! I normally follow by email so I am going to have to add you to my subscription list.
